The Killers at Hyde Park | New Support Acts Added!

Hyde Park is one of the highlights for us music loving Brits. It’s not a true festival experience with tents and White Lightning, but it does lasso the fans in with the BIG names. The past acts include The Libertines, The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath and this year have some great names too!

The Killers being the teenage favourite… well, we say teenage. WE were their fans when we were teenagers and we’re now fully fledged adults, with mortgages, motor cars and microwaves.  Occasionally we’ll still listen to them on our throwback playlists and many of us who didn’t get to see them in their prime would jump at a chance to see them.

“We’re just pushing it in different directions, then bringing it back and trying another direction.” – The Killers drummer, Ronnie Vannucci.

They are set to headline the UK festival with Elbow, Tears for Fears, White Lies, Cold War Kids and Mystery Jets. They’re set to play on the 8th of July. The other days have acts such as Green Day, Phil Collins, Pixies and Stevie Nicks!

The band have been worked on their new album for quite a few months now, according to Flowers, it’s “coming along.”
